World wide network

All servers are connected to 100 mbps network ports running on the best Internet backbones in the world. Our locations and Tier 1 networks are the best for great average latency to both east and west coast, also exceptional connections worldwide. On average our Texas servers get between 30-45ms ping times to both east and west coast. If you have a server on the east coast people on the west coast would get double that 60-90ms and vice versa. You can test your latency to our servers by pinging any one of the addresses listed on the right.

Server Hardware:
All of our servers run dual Intel® Xeon®, Dual core Conroe, and Quad core Kentsfield processors. We run no less than 2 to 4 Gigabytes of ram with SCSI/SAS 10K RPM hard drives. 100Mb/s Network ports backed by enterprise class 100% SLA uptime. All servers run Microsoft® Windows® Server 2003.

We adhere to the following recommendations from TeamSpeak to optimize performance and stability:
  • Spawn no more than 75 virtual servers maximum per TeamSpeak instance (running binary)
  • Use the native SQLite TeamSpeak 2 database. Although MySQL (3.x) support is available, in TeamSpeak 2 it is still highly experimental and not recommended for use in a production environment.

As you can see below on our network bandwidth charts, we never overload our servers! The average cpu load on our teamspeak servers is currently less than 5%. Already hosting several thousands of slots we are ready and able to handle your Teamspeak server needs no matter the size.
